As we prepare to celebrate the joy and beauty of Easter, you are invited to contribute toward the flowers that will adorn our church during this sacred season. Donating toward Easter flowers is a beautiful way to remember and honour loved ones who have gone before us — a quiet yet powerful sign of hope in the Resurrection and the promise of new life in Christ.

St. Peter's, Goderich
The Stations of the Cross this week was led by our Catholic Women’s League. Just a "shout out" to say, we are truly grateful for all they do for our parish and community as a whole. We thank each member for giving so generously of their time and for sharing their God-given gifts. We are blessed as a parish!
Rite of Election
The Rite of Election, held on the first Sunday of Lent, is a pivotal OCIA (formerly RCIA) step where the Church formally ratifies catechumens' readiness for the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist) at Easter. We were so excited to have four catechumens from Lake Huron Catholic Family of Parishes participate in the ceremony at St. Peter’s Basilica in London! Congratulations Jackson, Lincoln, Scott and Sabrina! Altogether we have 10 adults in our OCIA program! Please keep all those involved in our OCIA program including, our candidates (those already baptized in another faith), catechumens, sponsors and our two directors Lynette and Rene, in your prayers. We cannot wait until the Easter Vigil at St. Peter’s Goderich to welcome our new members to our Family of Parishes!
The statement specifically mentions Father Pierre El-Rahi, a Maronite priest killed Monday in the village of Qlayaa in the south of Lebanon, reportedly by Israeli artillery fire.
