Welcome!
We welcome all women of the parish age 16 and up to join us in living in faith, service, social justice, and sisterhood. We are a united voice of Catholic women across Canada providing faith-based opportunities for social interaction, personal development, and community service.
We meet the second Tuesday of the month in the Parish Hall from March through to December. Please join us. And if you are unable to attend meetings, consider a spiritual membership and pray for our efforts.
In the last 100 years, the CWL has passed approximately 1,000 resolutions on various issues. It is the only women’s organization in Canada that meets annually with various federal ministers and elected officials. League members began the process of creating change in society at a time when many provinces did not yet allow women to vote.

Immaculate Heart of Mary CWLALL ladies of Immaculate Heart of Mary are invited to a FUN DAY at the church, in the Fr. Beck Auditorium, on Tuesday, February 10th at 1pm. Come for games, goodies, laughs, fellowship. CWL members - please bring a small snack to share. A CWL Council was established at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Grand Bend in November 1956. Our members remain active within our parish and support needs locally, provincially, nationally and internationally.
Membership in the Catholic Women’s League is an opportunity to share time, talent and energy, for God and country; countless friendships have been formed within this sisterhood! All women, age 16 or older, are invited to join our Council.

Welcome!
Precious Blood Catholic Women’s League received their first charter in 1962 and reorganized in April 1982 with their current charter. We transitioned in 2025 from being a "doing" council to being a prayerful council and as such do not have regular meetings. We support our fellow sisters by keeping them in our prayers and participating in various activities hosted by the CWL councils in our Family of Parishes. The Catholic Women's League of Canada welcomes any woman aged 16 years of age and older and we encourage you to join this faith filled, women led movement. Whether you want to be involved with active leadership or support with quiet prayer, there is a place for you. And we would love to have you!
We ask you to collect and save your Hansen’s Independent grocery receipts and deposit them in the box in the church entrance. They give us a small portion of the sales receipts and we in turn use it to support local and global charities.

Membership
The general membership meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month (except June, July and August) at 7 pm at the Columbus Convention Centre. All ladies 16 years of age and older are welcome. If you're unsure about becoming a member, feel free to join us at any general membership meeting and/or check out our national website at www.cwl.ca. Membership fees are $35. per year and you decide your level of involvement. Not able to attend meetings? Join anyway and remember us in your prayers. Your membership also adds your voice of support for the local, national and international work in the many and varied outreach social justice issues currently being addressed by the League.

Textile recycling is an ongoing project that the CWL is undertaking. We will take all old clothes, fabrics, coats etc., in bad repair and unusable. They can be placed in the large wooden box under the stairs at church.

The Catholic Women's League is rooted in gospel values calling its members to holiness through service to the people of God. It's purpose is to:
